Old Fashioned: Fee Brothers Bitters Variation

Here's a basic old-fashioned (spirit base, excluding fruits). Again, I can't remember where I found it:

Old Fashioned: Base

• 2 dashes aromatic bitters
• 2 dashes sugar
• 1 1/2 to 2 oz bourbon

Fill with ice. Add cherry, orange slice, & lemon wedge. Serve in a rocks glass.


Here's a delicious Fee Brothers bitters variation. I don't like my old fashioned fruity. I prefer it with a little orange oil rimming the glass and on the surface, so this one was perfect for me.

Old Fashioned

• 2 shots Bourbon
• 1/4 shot sugar syrup
• 2 dashes Fee Brothers Old Fashioned Aromatic bitters
• 1 dash Angostura bitters
• 1 slice orange zest
